Urgent Help Needed for a Local Mom of 4 (Our daughter, Sierra) After Storm Totals Only Family Vehicle

On June 30, 2025, a devastating storm hit our area—and for one local mom of four young boys, it turned life upside down. A massive branch from a city-owned tree came crashing down onto her only vehicle, shattering the front and back windshields and crushing the stabilizer bars on both the front and rear of the roof. The body shop has declared the car totaled.

This vehicle was not just transportation—it was her lifeline. Without it, she has no way to get to work, appointments, grocery stores, or get her boys—two of whom are very active in sports with Havre de Grace youth teams—to their practices and events.

Unfortunately, this family was only carrying liability insurance, which means there’s no help from the insurance company. Finances are already tight, and with no savings to fall back on, replacing the car right now feels impossible.
