Support a life-changing trip for neurodivergent students
Donation protected
At The Courtyard, a specialist provision for neurodivergent young people, we believe in opening doors to life-changing experiences. That’s why we’re launching a fundraising campaign to raise £38,000 to take 30 of our incredible students on a 6-day educational trip to Mallorca, Spain, in June 2025.
Why This Trip Matters
This is more than a holiday—it’s an opportunity for growth, independence, and exploration. Many of our students face barriers in their everyday lives and come from low-income families, with a significant number accessing free school meals. For some, this will be their first trip abroad or even beyond parts of London.
Travel offers neurodivergent individuals unique benefits, including opportunities to:
- Build Independence: Navigate new environments and challenges.
- Boost Confidence: Develop self-assurance through new experiences.
- Gain New Perspectives: Learn about different cultures and diversity.
What’s Planned
In partnership with the world-renowned Rafa Nadal School, our students will participate in a tailored programme that includes:
- Sports Activities: Basketball, tennis, football, volleyball, swimming, and more.
- Exploring Mallorca: Discover stunning coves, visit local markets, and experience cultural landmarks like the Cathedral and Bellver Castle.
- Neurodiversity Training: Promoting inclusion by providing training to staff and students at Rafa Nadal School.
This immersive experience combines physical, social, and cultural learning, helping our students thrive in every aspect of their personal and academic lives.
Your Support Can Make This Possible
By donating, you’re helping to cover costs for:
- Flights, Accommodation, and Meals: Ensuring all students can join regardless of financial barriers.
- Travel and Guide Services: Facilitating seamless transitions between activities.
- Inclusive Opportunities: Supporting students’ personal growth and well-being.
Every donation, big or small, will help create a life-changing experience for our students. Together, we can inspire them to dream big, gain confidence, and create unforgettable memories.
