Hello everyone! So, as many of you know, I have been on a journey to get a spinal stimulator for the last four years. The purpose of the stimulator is to redirect pain signals from my shins and feet as well as from my right arm. This pain developed after 45 days lying prone because of a severe bout of Covid.

Complex Regional Pain Syndrome usually develops after an injury or surgery and symptoms include severe pain, swelling, and skin discoloration due to temperature differentials within an area. The doctors focused on keeping me alive, not physical therapy.

I have excruciating neuropathy leading to extensive sleep times to escape the pain. The surgery will help my quality of life improve and help my mental health as excessive pain can do crazy things to your mind.

We are trying to raise $5000 to cover my cost for the surgery center. This fee charged by the center requires we pay the amount up front, no exceptions. We are planning to cover as much of the fee as we can with our FSA account but it only covers about half.
