Support a Journey of Self-Discovery and Healing

Dear Friends and Family,

As the mighty Led Zeppelin sings "It's time for me to go the autumn moon lights my way", and so I am off to my journey. With nine states left to visit in order to hit all 50, I will be traveling to North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, and Colorado. In addition, there may be a few extra stops to visit some great Civil War battlefields: Chattanooga, Chickamauga, and Murfreesboro.

The greater purpose of this journey is to dive into myself, leaving many things behind and essentially hit the reset button. Happiness, direction, and purpose have eluded me as of late. I'm hoping to restore all of these on this journey. The book I began 14 years ago will be revisited, along with journals and various meditations. The great outdoors shall encompass my body, mind, and soul.

This GoFundMe page is designed for those who have kindly offered to contribute to this journey, including those who have visited these locations and simply requested to buy a lunch or drink at their favorite place. I'll be maintaining an Instagram page, along with this one, in order to share my daily experiences with all of you.
