Hi everyone,

My name is Annette Jarrett and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your support.

The families of Savanna-la-Mar in the parish of Westmoreland, Jamaica have been deeply affected by Hurricane Melissa, which caused devastating damage to homes – roofs torn off and houses destroyed, and compromised infrastructure.

While we are beyond grateful that no lives were lost, they are now facing the long and difficult process of rebuilding their lives from already shaky foundations (literally).

Funds raised will go directly toward:

• Food, water, and emergency supplies in the coming weeks

• Rebuilding and repairing their homes (roof, walls, and basic structure)

• School and personal supplies for the children who have lost much of what they had

Every dollar — no matter how small — will make a huge difference in helping the affected families get back on their feet. If you can’t donate, please consider sharing this page to help spread the word.

We will be working with trusted local leaders, former classmates of Peter, and identify specific families in need and ensure that each dollar directly supports them.
