Hi everyone,

I'm creating this fundraiser on behalf of my father-in-law, David, and his sweet dog sky.

Right now, life has been incredibly hard for him. He's the full time caregiver for his wife, who is in end stage Alzheimer's. Through all the long days and sleepless nights, his loyal companion Sky has been his constant source of comfort, always by his side, offering love, warmth and a little bit of peace when things feel overwhelming.

Recently, Sky tore her ACL and needs surgery to walk again without pain. Watching her struggle to stand and walk has been extremely heartbreaking. This dog means everything to him, truly his best friend and emotional anchor during an unimaginably difficult time.

The surgery and recovery will cost around $12,000, which includes the operation, medications , follow up appointments and rehab. Unfortunately, with the medical and caregiving expenses already weighing heavily on him, it's simply more than he can afford right now.

I'm hoping we can come together to help ease a bit of his burden, to give Sky a chance to run and play again, and to give my father-in-law a bit of light during such a dark and exhausting time.
