To our family and friends,

We are beyond devastated at the loss of our son, Jonathan. As any of you who have had the pleasure of knowing him or speaking to him at great lengths understand his love for the world and the history of it. A true history nerd if there ever was one.

Jonathan was many things: goofy, light-hearted, ambitious, infectious, determined, passionate. We could go on forever. He was truly enamored with learning and spreading knowledge to anyone who wanted to engage in thoughtful conversation on almost any subject.

Any and all donations raised here will be established with the University of North Florida to provide a scholarship to an eligible student with the same passion and love that Jonathan had for history.

The idea is that this will be an ongoing memorial scholarship. Please donate whenever you think of Jonathan and want to help us keep his memory alive.
