I am a Retired Connecticut State Trooper. During my 21 year career I worked in Major Crimes, Statewide Narcotics Task Force, Statewide Firearms Task Force, Statewide Organized Crime Task Force and Chiefs States Attorneys Office. I was responsible for investigations into homicides, weapons and narcotics trafficking, corruption, and I was tasked in the response to 9/11 and the Sandy Hook School Shooting which my unit was tasked to investigate. Overtime I developed a PTSD diagnosis which I have been struggling with for many years. I am currently participating at a rehabilitation center working with service K-9s. I have found harmony when I train with Curly, 2 year old chocolate lab. I am looking for any support I can get to achieve my goal of $5,000 so I can take Curly home with me. Thank you for your time.
