After 30 years of practicing holistic wellness, I am facing cervical cancer. I was diagnosed in February and got rid of the tumor naturally, by July. But due to chronic extreme stress, misdiagnosis of the severity of the type of cancer, mishandling and lack of response to test results by my first oncologist… my new oncologist just discovered that the cancer returned and spread. My only option now is chemotherapy and radiation. I’ve been told not to work anymore and as soon as labs are back, decisions will be made and treatment starts ASAP.

I’ve always been that person to stop to help those in need. Working as a solo LMT, I’ve given away my massage services to those with cancer, half price for those struggling with health issues or finances. I’m in need of help now, as hard as it is to admit. This is terrifying to face; it goes against everything I have studied for 30 years- but due to the nature of this type of cancer and its spreading (due to the lack of action when test results dictated immediate action)- I no longer am a candidate for surgery or natural treatments.
