We are deeply saddened to share that Jamaican rugby player, Alpachino Mignott, has been missing since October 19, 2024. His last known location was near Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, following a rugby match in Toronto.

Authorities have recently discovered a body they believe to be Alpachino's; however, his mother, Meshanda Nesbeth, is still awaiting DNA confirmation. The police have stated there is no evidence of foul play in his disappearance and subsequent death. We plead for anyone who has information to come forward.

Meshanda, who traveled from Jamaica to Canada in search of her son, is now facing the heartbreaking task of bringing his remains home. This process involves significant emotional and financial burdens, including funeral expenses, transportation costs, and legal procedures.

In this time of profound grief, we, as a community, have the opportunity to support Meshanda. By contributing to this GoFundMe campaign, we can help alleviate the financial strain and allow her to focus on mourning her beloved son.

About Alpachino:

Alpachino Mignott, 26, was a dedicated rugby player from Portmore, St. Catherine, Jamaica. He traveled to Canada to participate in a senior international rugby match at Lamport Stadium in Toronto. Described as 6'2" tall, weighing approximately 181 pounds, with a medium build, black hair, and a black beard, Alpachino was last seen on October 19, 2024, near Niagara-on-the-Lake.

Note: All funds raised will go directly to Meshanda Nesbeth to cover expenses related to repatriating Alpachino's remains and associated costs.
