Support a Grieving Mother After a Tragic Loss

I’m sharing this because a dear friend is going through an unimaginable loss, and I’d like to rally support to help her through an unusually difficult time.

My friend met a man who swept her off her feet, and he was head over heels for her. They fell in love, got engaged, and were overjoyed to learn they were expecting their first child. They wanted to make their family official and focus on building a life together, and in September 2024, decided to tie the knot.

The very next day, her husband tragically died in a car accident. He was just 30 years old, and she was just 17 weeks pregnant.

In the months since his passing, she has been navigating her grief while preparing to welcome their baby. I’ve witnessed in her a resilience and fortitude unlike anything I’ve ever seen. She’s determined to build a stable, loving home for their child, even as her world has been turned upside down.

I know she’s doing everything she can to move forward, but her husband’s sudden loss has left their future far more uncertain than either of them could have imagined. My hope is that we can help relieve some of the financial burden so she can focus on healing and nurturing her child.

The funds raised here will help cover basic living expenses, baby essentials, and help provide a stable foundation for this growing family — something she and her husband had planned and dreamed about together. Though we can’t fill the void left by her husband’s passing, we can help ensure that his love and dreams for their family live on.
