On December 15, 2024, a tragic scooter accident in Bardiya, Nepal, claimed the lives of a father, Ram Kumar Sah (permanent address: Rayapur, Saptari), and his 6-year-old daughter. His wife and son survived the accident and are currently recovering from their injuries.

Ram Kumar was on his way to the grocery market with his wife, daughter, and son when they collided with a vehicle while crossing the highway. Tragically, Ram Kumar and his daughter could not survive the incident, while his wife and son were severely injured.

Ram Kumar Sah had moved to Bardiya with his family five months ago. He was working as a public health officer in a community project. He was also supporting his mother and sister back home in Rayapur, Saptari. Ram Kumar had lost his father two years ago.

Ram Kumar was the sole breadwinner of his family. His mother and sister depended on him for financial support. With his untimely demise, there is no one left to support his family, including his mother and sister.

This devastating incident has left the entire family, friends, and the whole village in deep grief. The loss of the main provider has created significant uncertainty about the family's financial future.

२०२४ डिसेम्बर १५ मा बर्दिया, नेपालमा भएको दुखद स्कुटर दुर्घटनामा राम कुमार साह (स्थायी ठेगाना: रायपुर, सप्तरी) र उनकी ६ वर्षीय छोरीले ज्यान गुमाए। उनकी श्रीमती र छोरा दुर्घटनाबाट बाँच्न सफल भए र अहिले उपचाररत छन्।

राम कुमार श्रीमती, छोरी र छोरासँग बजार जानका लागि बाटोमा थिए, जब उनीहरू राजमार्ग पार गर्ने क्रममा सवारीसाधनसँग ठोक्किए। राम कुमार र उनकी छोरीको घटनास्थलमै मृत्यु भयो, जबकि उनकी श्रीमती र छोरा गम्भीर घाइते भए।

राम कुमार पाँच महिना अघि आफ्नो परिवारसँग बर्दिया सरेका थिए। उनी एक सामुदायिक परियोजनामा जनस्वास्थ्य अधिकृतका रूपमा कार्यरत थिए। उनले रायपुर, सप्तरीमा आफ्नी आमा र बहिनीलाई पनि सहयोग गरिरहेका थिए। दुई वर्षअघि उनले आफ्ना बुबालाई गुमाएका थिए।

राम कुमार परिवारका एकमात्र कमाउने व्यक्ति थिए। उनकी आमा र बहिनी आर्थिक रूपमा उनैमाथि निर्भर थिए। उनको असामयिक निधनले परिवारलाई ठूलो आर्थिक संकटमा पुर्‍याएको छ।
