Support a Grateful Grandmother's Business Dream
Donation protected
Greetings family and friends,
I’ve fallen on hard times and I’m reaching out for help. As most of you know, I am a single grandmother with two adorable grandsons and a granddaughter on the way!! A few months ago, I had to leave my job at Samsung in San Jose to be closer to my daughter, Chelsey, and two grandsons, Uri and Noah. My plan was to start a business, which I did, but unfortunately I misjudged how long it would take to generate revenue and I haven’t been able to find a job.
My work ethic is unsurpassed. I have over four decades of corporate work experience in sales, marketing, and administrative services and 60 years of life experience. So I'm confident I'll be able to find another job and also be successful at this business, but if you're able to help me by bridging the gap in income and support my business, I would greatly appreciate it.
I’m aware that many of you haven’t heard from me in years, so please accept my apologies for appealing to you with my hand out instead of my arms open, but I don't know where else to turn. I’m hoping you’ll have empathy for me and overlook my bad manners. If so and you’re willing and able to help me, please donate on this platform or feel free to reach out to me directly. No amount is too little.
If you would prefer to support my business, there are a couple of options.
(1) Become a client. I have several websites that offer different products all under the umbrella of Bluribn, LLC.
• www.elev828.org Repository of Business Development Resources for Small Business Owners - This is the main site which houses the other websites--except www.lilyandfinch.com.
• www.bluribn.com Administrative Services - This is the parent company. The other businesses listed here are DBAs.
• www.sassysites.co - Websites
• www.saasysolutions.pro - SaaS Provider (software as a service)
• www.lilyandfinch.com Household Goods (launching soon)
(2) Join my company as a board member. Rather than making a one-time donation, as a member of the board you would have an opportunity to contribute equity capital on a recurring basis and, as a result, be entitled to a 15% return on your investment. If you’re interested in this option, please reach out to me directly. I would be happy to send you my Business Plan and a copy of the company’s Operating Agreement that outlines the way distributions will be paid.
As part of my plea, I thought it would be important to share some details about what I’m working on to generate income. While I’m applying for jobs in my field, I am also working on building my businesses. Due to my age and financial predicament, I believe it’s important for me to make up for lost time by starting a business and making it successful. This will give me the financial freedom I need to take care of myself in my old age, to help others, and to spend quality time with my grandkids. And I believe the easiest and fastest way to get up and running is to start a business in an industry that’s booming—technology.
It’s no secret that technology has created a world of mind-blowing potential for hard-working, creative, and ambitious entrepreneurs; and harnessing it effectively can lead to remarkable outcomes, some of which are being broadcasted daily on multiple social media sites. As a category, this topic appears to be one of the most popular being discussed. So, I believe this is a good time to have a business that targets small business owners who want to experience these same exciting outcomes they’re hearing about on social media. But why target small businesses?
Well, let’s consider the following statistic from the SBA Office of Advocacy that claims about 38% of small businesses use specialized software in their operation. Hmmm, they must be using this software for a reason. Could the business owners touting their successes on social media be the same business owners who use this so-called specialized software to run their businesses and achieve success worthy of showcasing on social media? If so, why don’t the other 62% of businesses do the same? And is it necessary for them to jump on this technology bandwagon in order to thrive and scale as a business?
Maybe so, maybe no. But if so, there is a tremendous opportunity for technology companies to fill the existing void by selling SaaS (software as a solution) and/or SaaS-related products and services. If my math is “mathing”, 62% of the estimated number of small businesses in the U.S. represents roughly 20 million businesses not using specialized software in their operations. To hit an eight-figure annual revenue goal, ELEV828 would need to onboard only a small fraction of them to be highly profitable. In fact, by leveraging automation, an eight-figure annual revenue goal is very feasible based on my business plan and experience.
With such a large number of prospects, the field is ripe for a substantial harvest. And those who show up first with their baskets in hand, will most certainly reap significant rewards. There was a time when only 38% of the population had a cell phone. But now, according to data from Pew Research Center, after only two decades of popularity in the U.S. nearly 97% of the population owns a cell phone. Companies who showed up with baskets in hand like Samsung and Apple, can attest to the power of being in the right place at the right time. Could this be the future of SaaS sells? If so, ELEV828 is perfectly positioned, and we can expect a tremendous return on investment.
But what if I’m wrong? I might be, but I might not be. Certainly, it can be argued that technology isn’t necessary to run a business, and in some cases (although I can’t think of any) I believe this argument would prevail. But for the most part, technology (the backbone of which is software) is being widely accepted as a necessary component of running a business. If it weren’t so, then statements like the following one on Google wouldn’t exist.
“Over the last decade, technology companies have experienced significant growth, with many seeing revenue increases far exceeding the overall market average, with some even reaching a "trillion-dollar" valuation, largely driven by the rise of cloud computing, social media, and e-commerce, leading to a substantial increase in market share and influence across various sectors; tech earnings have grown 2-3 times faster than non-tech earnings in recent years.”
In other words, technology is here to stay, and I believe most companies not currently using software in their businesses will be using it in the not too distant future. ELEV828 is simply showing up with its basket when the harvest is ripe for the picking.
That’s why I’m so passionate about this business. Its framework provides the right product, at the right time, in the right space. It’s just that simple, so I hope my story has resonated with you and you have decided to support my cause. But if not, no worries…obviously you aren’t obligated to help me in any way, shape, or form. But for those of you who have decided to help, thank you so much. Your empathy and helping hand will be cherished and appreciated as long as I’m on this earth. And for those of you who have decided to join my board, I’m looking forward to working and spending quality time with you. Entrepreneurship has been my passion for as long as I can remember. I can’t shake it. I believe it is the vehicle that will take me to financial freedom. I hope you come along for the ride.
