"I am Zakaria alZaq, a resident of the Shujaiya neighborhood. My house was bombed, and my family and I fled to the Deir Al-Balah area in central Gaza. Now we live in a tent. My family and I consists of 21 people, children and adults. Our livelihood was lost in the war."

Hello, I am Marlie Bryant and I am raising funds for the alZaq family of Shujaiya. I was introduced to members of this family through their neighbor, Mahmoud, who I am also raising money for.

Previously, the family ran a small shop out of their apartment. However, both their home and their primary source of income was completely destroyed, and they were forced to flee to another city. Their goal is to leave Gaza in order to ensure their safety, though this comes at a high cost, totaling over $5000 per person.

All donations will be put towards essential items such as food and clothing, as well as towards the cost of fleeing Gaza.
