My friend has endured several emotionally abusive relationships and is currently struggling with mental health challenges, including thoughts of self-harm. They are going through a divorce and need to be admitted to a psychiatric facility for a 30-day program, but do not have enough funds saved to cover their bills during this time. The weight of these challenges has made it difficult for them to focus on healing, as the fear of losing their vehicle, apartment, and the ability to pay essential bills adds to their stress.

The funds raised will help cover utilities, phone, vehicle, rent, and recoup lost pay while my friend is in treatment. This support will relieve the burden of unpaid responsibilities, allowing them to focus fully on their recovery. Luke 15:4-7 reminds us of the importance of caring for the one in need: 'Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it?...' Most people go after the 99 and forget the 1, but when one is in need, that is who Jesus went for. I’m here to make sure this '1' gets the help they need.
