Support a Friend's Final Tribute to Tila

On March 9, 2025, this world unexpectedly lost one of the most special, loved, and cherished women, Tila Galvan. Tila touched the lives of everyone she met. Her smile and laughter brightened any room. I was lucky to get to know Tila on a deeper level. Our boys became best friends upon us moving to Oregon. Due to circumstances in both of our lives, we basically started co-parenting... you know, because it really does take a village to raise kids these days. So, Tila became my kids' second mom and vice versa. We were actually planning a trip together to Lincoln City the week after she passed away. Tila was also my friend. A real, true, ride-or-die friend, and my heart absolutely aches.

So, getting to her funeral is very important to my kids and myself. Sadly, circumstances have me as a single mom to 4 teenagers, not just living paycheck to paycheck but not even making it paycheck to paycheck. I am, however, determined to get my kids to the funeral next week. I've never done a GoFundMe before, but thought I'd give this a try. I am trying to raise the money to get to Sacramento, California from Oregon for myself and 3 of my kids and back home. We just need gas for the vehicle, food, a room for a couple of nights, and flowers for the funeral. I am putting a goal of $1000, only because the gas per Google Maps estimates the cost around $500 round trip, then a room and food with current prices... etc. But we would be so grateful for absolutely any help. Tila leaves behind 3 kids and a grandbaby that we very much want to be there to support next week. This world will never be the same without Tila, but I plan to continue to strive to be more like Tila in my everyday dealings to keep her spirit alive. Services are being held in Sacramento, California 3/26/2025. Kids want to leave Monday or Tuesday with us returning after the services.
