Support a Fresh Start in Berlin

As many of you know, this past year has been rough on me. I lost my job a month after moving into my house. In terms of my mental health, I’m facing a lot of challenges and there’s a considerable amount of trauma I’ve yet to unpack, ultimately leading to a deep depression thats left me without any purpose or direction.

However, the final straw came when I received a 60-day notice to vacate my home. The landlord is adding an ADU back house on the property and is remodeling in the meantime.

What does that mean? It means I am essentially jobless and I will be homeless the first week of October. It also means I have a unique opportunity to move to Berlin, where one of my partners currently resides. I will be selling off most of my possessions and hitting the reset button on my life.

This also means I need to raise some money to make this happen- any little bit will help and provide a little running room, so I can get back on my feet. Despite the challenges I’ve been facing, the prospect of starting fresh has given me something to look forward to and whatever you can contribute will help further fuel that hope.

The funds will be used for relocation to Berlin, and basic living expenses.
