Support a Fresh Start After a Year of Struggles

Hello friends! I need help fast!! ☺️ Most of you didn't know that I've quietly been without a home for over a year now. I've been too ashamed and embarrassed to talk to many people about my lack of housing and unexpected divorce. While it wasn't what I wanted, I am fighting my way to a much better me! I'm thrilled to let you all know that I have been accepted into a low-income apartment! I only found out this morning!! About 9 months ago, I decided to begin applying anywhere I could find within the US because affordable housing on a low income is extremely difficult to find. Some of the lists I've seen were as much as 6 years long! Hence, my new home will be in Salt Lake City, Utah, and I'm moving from Everett, Washington. Oh my!! I wanted to stay in Washington, but maybe a completely new start is best? I'm excited as well as being a bit nervous!! The past year has been one filled with struggles and immense healing. I'm so incredulous that I am going to have a new life! As can be expected with a long-distance move, there are expenses! My situation has allowed me to save very little; however, I have about a third of what the moving costs are. I MUST be in Utah by the 15th to sign the lease, which gives me very little time! However, I'm sheepishly, but with high hopes, asking each of you for help in starting anew! The absolute minimum needed in this fundraiser is 1000 dollars to take myself and two suitcases on a 30-hour road trip, with 3 transfers on a Greyhound, to adventure to Salt Lake.

The best possible outcome (and my favorite option) would be to be blessed with about 1700 dollars so that I can rent a car, drive to Utah, and bring the last few belongings I have in a small storage to my new home!
