My name is Sarah Hoffman, and I work at the Food Bank of Northeast Louisiana. Normally I’m raising funds for our mission, but one of our own needs our help!! I’m raising funds of behalf of my Food Bank coworker. They lost their home in Ouachita Parish due to tree falls in Winter Storm Fern. They want to remain private, but I can tell you they are a great person and have done so much for our community over the years through their work in hunger relief. Their family needs help covering the costs of temporary shelter, food, finding new living arrangements and other unexpected expenses this disaster brought about. Please help if you can!! The beneficiary of this fundraiser will link their bank account to the fundraiser, allowing the donations to go directly to their family. Funds will be used to cover expenses of shelter, food and replacement for other items lost as a result of the storm damage to their home.
