I'm a first-generation college student, event photographer, art teacher, and a toxic household survivor.

I plan to move out in June to stay with a friend and their family, but I won't have much money left after I buy a used car. I will be covered in terms of housing during June (at my friend's house) and July (at Ramapo's summer program which gives me free housing for only that month.) During the weekends of that summer program, I will apply for jobs, go to interviews, and possibly meet tenants that are offering a sublease in my budget. I am fairly confident I will be able to get a job within that month so I can start working in August, and either immediately try to sublease a place, or stay with someone while I continue working.

Please consider donating so I can afford to sublease while replenishing my savings as I begin my first year of college. It's also worth noting that although I cannot afford to dorm, my tuition, health insurance, and fees are completely covered by grants I acquired.
