Support a First-Gen Peruvian Woman in Architecture

Hi, my name is Renata Maguiño. I’m originally from Peru and currently living in Florida as an international student on an F1 visa. I got my Associate’s in Arts May 2024.
Recently, I received an offer to join the accelerated Master’s program in Architecture at Florida International University (FIU) — the exact program I’ve dreamed of for years. ($15k per semester) This would allow me to keep working toward my goal of designing buildings that serve and uplift vulnerable communities.
I’ve worked hard to get here — I currently hold a 3.9 GPA and continue to search for scholarships and financial support. But as an international student, I don’t qualify for federal aid, and the cost of attending is very high.
I’m doing everything I can to make it possible, but right now, I’m at a difficult crossroads: I want to say yes to this opportunity, but I can’t afford to do it alone. That’s why I’m raising funds — to help cover tuition, school materials, and living expenses, so I can enroll in this life-changing program and continue building the future I’ve always believed in.
