Hi, my name is Taryn Mayer, and I’m a fourth-year student at the University of Arizona School of Music developing A Feral Season, a new workshop musical.

This project is being created in collaboration with a composer and dramaturg and will be presented as a libretto-in-hand workshop production. I’m raising funds to help fairly compensate our performers and creative collaborators, support rehearsal and production needs, and allow this work to continue developing in a sustainable and artist-centered way.

A Feral Season is grounded in real people’s stories of romance, relationships, and heartbreak in the modern world, and this workshop is an important step in shaping the piece through live performance and collaboration.
