On Friday, September 26th, my uncle was violently attacked in Eisenhower Park after the Steve Aoki concert. He has no memory of what happened that night, and we still do not know who was responsible. The attack left him with a devastating brain and skull injury, requiring emergency surgery for a major brain bleed. He was in critical condition, and although we are so grateful he survived, the road ahead is long, painful, and uncertain.
In the months to come, he will need another surgery to replace part of his skull with a plate. The doctors cannot say what lasting effects this injury may cause, and he is unable to work while trying to heal. This has left his wife and two children, Nicolas who is 16 and Lucas who is only 5, facing unimaginable stress and overwhelming financial hardship.
Our family is heartbroken and doing everything we can to support them through this tragedy, but they need more help than we can provide alone. We are reaching out with the deepest humility to ask for your support. Any contribution, no matter the size, will go directly toward medical bills and daily living expenses as they try to stay afloat during this crisis.
From our entire family, thank you for keeping them in your prayers and for showing kindness in this time of unimaginable difficulty.
