My name is Alex, a father living in the U.S. with my son, fighting for the safety and freedom of my daughter in Israel. Two years ago, when she was 12 years old, she was wrongfully taken from her family and placed in a closed institution — even though she has no psychiatric diagnosis, no hospitalization history, and no danger to herself or others.

The removal was based on a mistaken social-services decision — something that, unfortunately, happens far too often in Israel due to overloaded and poorly coordinated child-welfare systems. Many families face similar struggles when misunderstandings are treated as “risk,” instead of being resolved through dialogue and support.

Since then, I’ve done everything possible — meeting with my daughter when possible (visits of parents limited), working with documents, attending hearings, and funding multiple legal efforts. I’ve already spent more than $15,000 trying to bring her home. Her mother, who lives in Israel, is now working together with our new attorney, Veronika Bromberg, one of the most respected family and child-rights lawyers in Israel.

We are now approaching a decisive court hearing that will determine whether our daughter can return home or remain in isolation for another year. Every donation will help cover Veronika’s legal work and court fees — all focused solely on one goal: to reunite a child with her family and restore her freedom.

Thank you for helping us. Every bit of support truly matters.

More info written in my Facebook profile (and I do updates there):

The funds currently being used:
1. To pay for the lawyer.
2. Small fees for my Facebook profile advertising (to inform other people in Israel about existing problem with children being "kidnapped" by social workers).
3. I do help to the other parents in similar situation and long term goal to collect some non-profit foundation money that can help to other parents and children in similar situation (to consult them, to help them for lawyers payment when they need help immediately, similar).

The photo shows how special kind of jail for children in Israel looks like from the outside (there are 85 children there from 12 years old and most of children being healthy and without possibility for parents visits or without access to education). When I visited this place for meeting with workers there (special invite required to come inside), then I heard loud cries of unhappy children sometimes, but most of the children that I saw there are regular healthy children who were "kidnapped" from parents in Israel (similar way like it happened with my younger daughter and my older children escaped from Israel to the other safer countries - my son to the U.S. and my older daughter in Armenia country right now - after this started to happen with my younger daughter).

If I'm in U.S. with my 20 years old son (he feels good and studies in adults English school now), then my wife still being in Israel fighting with legals in Israel to get back younger daughter home. It is forbidden to my younger daughter to escape Israel before winning the judgments with social department in Israel.
