Hi, I’m Jenni. This is my papi, Jesse, pictured with his 3 daughters who love him dearly. He is a fun-loving, happy go lucky, hilarious and chill dude who loves all things music, art, nature, deep conversation and spirituality -some of my favorite things about him that we have all truly inherited a love for because of his genuine desire to share it all so passionately!

After very recently losing his own father to cancer, and then seeing his daughters lose two grandparents within a couple months of each other he admits; “I never truly knew how painful these illnesses can be” and how we genuinely do not ever know what someone else is going thru until we are in their shoes.

He’s now wearing those shoes and it hurts me to see someone I love suffering.

Feeling helpless and with the weight of many back to back traumatic events in our family and my personal life, I am attempting to raise support for my father, who has been recently diagnosed with rectal cancer. He is physically unable to work and needs to start chemotherapy and radiation treatments to minimize the size of his tumor in order to have intensive surgery attempting to remove it. He has been unable to eat or use the restroom regularly and had so much pain and bleeding that he has been unable to perform his job duties as a life-long auto body technician.

These unfortunate events have led him to financial turmoil, which has affected his ability to keep up with rent payments and bills while he is in and out of the hospital, missing work. While his employer is being very kind and understanding, I don’t want to see my father living from a vehicle while he is suffering with the pain of cancer in his body. Any and all support is appreciated, but if you are unable to give, please simply lift my father in your prayers. As his eldest daughter, living states away and unable to be as physically present as I would love to be, there is a limit on how much I can do to help. So I humbly come to my loving and loyal community for any support we can get during these difficult times.
