Please dont skip our suffering in gaza

My name is Nader Hamed, an electrical engineer, a father of three wonderful children, and a resident of Gaza. My life was forever changed by the devastating effects of the ongoing conflict. Today, as I write this, I find myself standing at a crossroads, trying to rebuild everything that was taken from me during the violence.

Before the ceasefire, my life was one of stability, hope, and hard work. I had a fulfilling job as an electrical engineer, and my family was everything to me. My two sons, Anwar and Yusuf, were full of energy and dreams, and my daughter Lina, with her innocent smile, was the joy of our home. We lived a modest but peaceful life in Gaza, surrounded by the warmth of our community and the love we had for each other.

But the war came, and with it, the destruction that left me with nothing but the remains of the life I once knew. Our home was completely destroyed, reduced to rubble. All the memories, the laughter, and the everyday moments spent together—gone.

As if that wasn’t enough, I also lost my job. The company I worked for had to close due to the widespread devastation and the inability to continue operations under such harsh conditions.

I now find myself in a situation I never imagined. I am a father who no longer has a home to offer his children, a provider who can no longer provide, and a man who is trying to figure out how to rebuild his life after the worst of times.

But I am not giving up. The ceasefire has brought a glimmer of hope, a chance to begin again. I am determined to create a future for my children, one where they can live in safety, receive an education, and grow up without the shadow of war. I still have my skills as an electrical engineer, and I am willing to work hard to rebuild my life and offer my children the opportunity they deserve.

But I need your help.
