Hi, I'm Deb McLaughlin from Arizona, I have started this GoFundMe account for a co-worker that lost everything in Hurricane Helene. I spoke with her today, and she is extremely grateful that this account is being set up for her benefit. I know she does not like to ask for things, and this came as a big surprise for her. As a single mother, she asked that I not use her name or photos for safety reasons.

With two feet of water in her lower level living area, everything was ruined, and she is now starting completely over. I can't imagine how her young daughter is doing after losing all of her toys, clothing, and home. They are currently staying in her parents' guest room until she finds another place to live.

She is currently a remote worker and had planned on relocating to the state where her employer has an office in the metro Phoenix area. Sadly, a move will now be much easier with no possessions to take with her and no place to live.

I can't imagine losing everything and having to start over while working and taking care of a child. All funds will go to my co-worker and her daughter. Here is a starting list of items that need to be purchased:

Beds and bedding

Bath towels

Furniture

Kitchen and dining ware

Clothing, shoes, pajamas, etc.

Desk

Food

Toys, bike, dress up clothes
