On June 16th, 2025, at approximately 1:00 PM, a devastating fire completely destroyed our family's home in Okemos' Arrowtree townhouses. The cause of the fire, which originated in a nearby unit's oven, is currently under investigation. The property is considered a total loss and beyond repair. We have filed a claim with Progressive Insurance and have thoroughly documented the damage with photos and videos. We are diligently compiling a detailed inventory of our damaged and destroyed personal belongings, including estimated values and purchase dates, and are also tracking temporary living expenses. The fire department and insurance adjuster have both assessed the property.

We are currently working to secure new living arrangements. The fact that our home has been deemed uninhabitable and a total loss is incredibly difficult. We are humbly seeking support from our family, friends, and community. We require a new home, new belongings, and any assistance you can offer. Our family is heartbroken; our son's third birthday is June 29th, and all of his clothes, toys, nursery, and playroom have been destroyed. We would be deeply grateful for your help.
