Help a Family of Nine Rebuild After Hurricane Melissa ️

My name is Deondra, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my family in Montego Bay, Jamaica, who were devastated by Hurricane Melissa. Five sisters, their mother, and three small children—a total of nine family members—lost everything when the storm hit. Their homes were destroyed, they were forced to evacuate, and they are now displaced with no place to call home. One of the sisters is also expecting a baby, and all of them have temporarily lost their jobs, unsure when they’ll be able to return to work.

I currently reside in New York and have been in close communication with my relatives throughout this tragedy. The purpose of this fundraiser is to provide immediate relief and support to help them rebuild their lives. All funds collected will go directly toward their recovery, including temporary housing, food, clothing, school supplies for the children, bedding, and other daily necessities to help them get stabilized and start again.

We are also accepting physical donations such as clothing, school supplies, bedding, and small household appliances. We’ll be sending barrels and containers down to Jamaica, so if you would like to donate items, please contact me through my Facebook page, and I’ll arrange pickup or drop-off.
