Support a Family of 10 Recovering from Flooding

We're a family of 10 living in Southern Indiana on a small homestead, and we were greatly impacted by the flooding in our state. We had to evacuate at the last second in the middle of the night since the water got much higher, much faster than we thought it was going to. We grabbed what we could, turned off the power, and headed out. Now, our trailer and cabin have been sitting in water since Sunday night. We have no real means to replace what is lost right now.

We wouldn't ask for help if we could do it on our own... but I think we are a little out of our depth this time. We don't have a full understanding of what all is lost right now, but at the very least, it is likely our main home and one of our vehicles. Luckily, we have a great set of neighbors who are helping out with our animals and helping as much as they can.

If you can help us out at all, you don't know how much of a difference it would make. Even if it is just a little bit. We are grateful for any help at all. Anything and everything helps. We would also like to ask for prayers, as this is going to be one busy and stressful time for our family. But I have faith we will make it through to the other side. Thank you!!!

UPDATE: Through some miracle, nothing was as bad as we were expecting. We have still lost a lot, but not as much as we thought by any means. It was mostly clothes and linens, but we also lost some furniture and other odds and ends. We are getting help replacing what clothes we can through donations from people in the community, but everything else still needs taken care of. Our zero turn mower and truck are some of the most expensive items. Our bedroom was hit the hardest, so our entire bed frame and mattress have to be replaced. There was also a sleeper sofa/futon that got ruined and needs replaced asap. We have lost some school supplies and a lot of the kids toys. And then a bunch of outside supplies like pallets, barrels, scrap wood, crates... things I had planned on using for gardening, rabbit hutches, another coop, and various diy projects. The cabin took a pretty big hit, so it will need a decent bit of work to get all the moisture and smell out. It's rough, but we still have a home, at the very least. And I am so thankful for that.

We do still need help, as a lot of this is too much for us to replace right now. We just don't need as much as we thought we would, thank God!
