It’s been about 3 years now since the passing of my late boyfriend and father of my two children. We have been scraping to get by, trying to continue to pay off bills racked up from having to take time off to be in the hospital when he was sick, pay an emergency medical bill due to a dental emergency I had from a severe infection, hours being cut at my job due to corporate regulations, paying childcare out of pocket due to lack of support, and an emergency car loan we had to take out to get another vehicle when the one we had finally stopped working.

I am one person. I've tried my hardest on my own, but I just cannot do it anymore. It is taking a lot for me to even make this. I no longer qualify for federal assistance. My rent just keeps going up. I am on the verge of running out of funds to support my family and at this point, I just want enough to move out of my current home and start over again. I want to get a cheaper place, pay off the rest of the bills I have left over from trying to get by, and be able to pay the early termination lease so I can get out of the apartment I'm in and try to move to a place with better jobs.
