Support a Family in Need Due to a Traumatic Event❣️
Donation protected
As you all may know, my 12 year old niece (Seryna), was hit by a SUV on 6/30/24 She was unresponsive on scene, taken to the nearest hospital where she was then life flighted to OSF SFMC Children’s Hospital of IL in Peoria Due to her critical condition, she was intubated (life support) and directly admitted to PICU after receiving emergent cares in the trauma bay She has a deep laceration on her head and right knee, road rash on her entire back side and a fractured right leg Both her tibia and fibula bone “snapped” backwards and came through the skin on her calf
Her leg was surgically fixed but now there are concerns for other problems.. Due to certain symptoms, the doctors have had several concerns for possible “silent seizures,” stroke, and traumatic brain injury Her most recent MRI does show several “small” areas of bleeding. The doctor is hopeful that the bleed will stop/correct itself. We are unsure of a prognosis at this time.
As a mother myself, I can not imagine the pain, fear and loss of hope my sister (Briana) is going through
She is currently taking time off of work, unpaid, to be with Seryna. Briana also has a 10 year old boy and a 5 year old girl that are at home with my mom, Terri. My mom is 60 years old and working full time to care for the other two children as they all live in the same household
I am hoping to raise money to help put some financial concerns at ease My start goal is $2,000. ANY amount of money is much so appreciated ❣️ALL donations will be used to help with medical bills, monthly finances, gas/food, school supplies and/or any type of home repairs (wheelchair ramp) they may have to make when Seryna is discharged home
Money donations can be sent through Facebook pay and CashApp ($BrandiCrockford). Gift cards, care packages and school supplies can be mailed/dropped off to me at 917 W Locust St, Canton, IL 61520
Keep Seryna in your prayers
