We are a family of 4 - Alisha, James, Lacey and Lance. We've lived in Durango since 2018 when we came onto hard times and lost our housing in 2023. With the help of local nonprofits we were able to move into our new place in August 2024.

Over the past year, we’ve been working hard to get back on our feet, but it’s taking time. Although Alisha was able to quickly find full-time work, it’s taken James longer and we are only just now reaching the point where we can pay our monthly bills. In the meantime we’ve fallen behind on rent and are in danger of going back on the streets right before winter.

We need to raise $6,000 to pay our balance and stay housed. Anything we receive over that will be used for rent going forward so that we can finally get ahead. We appreciate anything that is offered and are so grateful for this community.
