My family and I have had nothing short of an eventful year, and some very unfortunate circumstances have caused us to be in some financial deficits.
We’ve been so busy with how hectic it’s been that we haven’t even taken our first family picture as a family of five yet so as a picture is required, we used our most recent family photo.
we didn’t want to put a financial goal on here, but it requires us to put something. Honestly, anything will do. We have to come above water. We know that we’re not the only ones struggling too so we are incredibly sensitive to that
my wife developed a severe case of hyperemesis during her pregnancy, which led to her losing her job, and that came with its own medical bills and medical costs for outpatient care.
During her 6th month of pregnancy, she was hit at a red light and was injured, and of course, more medical expenses followed. We paid out of pocket for 2 months for a rental while her car was being repaired and before the insurance reimbursed us, but it left us with messy credit since we had to use our credit cards to get by the summer prior from losing income.
We got through the toughest part of that pregnancy, and then our son was born a month early with severe G.I. issues that we still haven’t resolved, which has since then also added to more medical expenses. My wife has done everything she can to find the issue and has even stopped eating anything besides chicken and rice to try to fix our son’s gut while she’s nursing. She’s lost weight, and she’s tired.
She then had her car stolen out of our driveway and is now back in a rental that we cannot afford while we either find out if the car is totaled, which will put us in an even worse financial situation, or if it's going to be repaired. Either way, the rental is a must, and it’s costing us 250 dollars a week, which we do not have.
If anyone is at all willing or able to help us in this very hard time, we would much appreciate it. We will most likely be in this rental for a few months because a theft claim with insurance companies requires an arm and a leg and is requiring us to jump through loops to prove that we are not trying to commit insurance fraud. it’s going to take some time to process our claim and for them to come through with any type of help. We appreciate and love y'all very much. We will make it through this hard time and come out on top, but for now, we need our village. Thank you, guys.
