Hello everyone,

It’s been a rough few weeks for our family, and we’re reaching out for help because we’ve run out of options.

Last week, our refrigerator unexpectedly gave out, and we had no choice but to purchase a new one. After installing it on Thursday, we woke up Friday morning to a flooded kitchen. At first, I thought I might have messed up the water line, but that wasn’t the issue. After hours of troubleshooting, we discovered that the drip tube in our furnace was clogged, causing water to drain into our kitchen. Luckily, I was able to fix it myself using a pipe cleaner and some AC drip line cleaner.

But then, things took another turn. This morning, our water heater’s pilot light went out, and we were left without hot water. A technician from the gas company came by and told us that the thermal coupler and ignition switch need to be replaced. I’m going to try replacing the thermal coupler first, but if that doesn’t fix it, we’ll need to replace the entire water heater.

As if that wasn’t enough, just an hour after the technician left, our AC unit’s fan stopped spinning and started making a terrible noise. Now we’re without air conditioning too, and we’re honestly feeling overwhelmed by everything happening at once.

On top of these household issues, we are also dealing with ongoing medical expenses. Three of us are seeing psychiatrists regularly, and I have a neurologist appointment coming up this week for a stroke checkup.

Our regular bills haven’t stopped coming in, and these unexpected repairs and medical costs have put us in a tough spot. Asking for help is not easy, but right now, we’re desperate. Anything you can contribute would mean the world to us and would help us get through this incredibly stressful time.
