Help Support His Family in Their Time of Need

Our dear friend and colleague, Ramesh Sunkari, just 36 years old, has been bravely fighting Stage 4 Hepatocellular Carcinoma (liver cancer). This aggressive illness has led to multiple organ failures and, after a rapid decline in his health, doctors have shared the devastating news that there are no further treatment options. Ramesh has now been moved to palliative care and remains hospitalized, surrounded by his loving wife Anjali Kothakota and their 3-year-old son Venkata Shaurya.

Just two months ago, Ramesh was a healthy, hardworking IT professional, a devoted husband, and a caring father. Like so many immigrants, he came to the United States on an H1B visa, chasing the American Dream. His dedication, skills, and generosity touched everyone who knew him—at work and at home.

Tragically, a routine doctor’s visit for pain turned into the worst news imaginable. The diagnosis confirmed he is on stage 4 liver cancer. In just a few short weeks, his health declined rapidly, and he is now in critical condition, on oxygen and under intensive medical care. With Ramesh unable to work and little family support nearby, the emotional and financial toll on his family has been overwhelming. Sadly, he did not opt in for company provided life insurance and also did not purchase term insurance outside, and the medical expenses, hospital bills, and living costs have mounted rapidly.
