Support a Family Displaced by Fire and Water Damage

Hello there, everyone! I've never really done this before, so I apologize if this seems a little awkward. In late May, I would say sometime around the 29th or so, the house that I live in with my mother caught fire. The water heater apparently caught aflame in the middle of the night.

The heater itself is the only thing that sustained fire damage; however, the sprinkler system, as well as the water from the firefighters, has led our home to suffer extensive water damage. Since then, we've been displaced with our pets and have been living out of a single-room hotel for two months at this point.

Couple that with me having lost my job, with unemployment having been exhausted, and we've found ourselves in a tight financial spot. We're squeezing by, but any unexpected financial upheavals and we're gonna be up a creek without a paddle. It doesn't help that the insurance company has spent all this time "filing paperwork" with us, twiddling our thumbs with a waterlogged and soaked home we're legally not allowed to live in until it's fixed, thanks to Prince William County essentially condemning it due to it not being safe to live in.

The money we're asking for is to help us with the increase in Condo and HOA fees we have incurred. This is the part that our insurance company won't cover. The rate increased and was billed as "work orders" that we're supposed to cover ourselves. One work order was $800, and the association informed us that they can't tell us if more are to come.

All my life, I've been able to pick myself up and try to push forward, but with zero luck in getting a job after my unemployment, even working as a janitor, and my personal funds gone down to zero, I feel like I have very little choice but to ask for help here. Anything at all would be a huge help to me and my family. Thank you so much for anyone who can help.
