Unfortunately, a research job I’ve been very excited about may fall through because of the ongoing NIH funding problems.

In a crazy twist of fate, however, I have an opportunity to develop gluten-free/ other allergen-friendly baked goods at a unique pub in the Scottish highlands (yes, this all sounds fantastical, but I will share details in private).

I also qualify for a special two-year visa to live and work in the UK, which would allow me to take this… essentially, dream job.

So, for the first time ever, knowing a lot of people may find this tacky, I’m crowdfunding. My visa costs will amount to $3K+ up front.

I wouldn’t ask if I didn’t need support here, but I do. Don’t feel pressured, but thank you.
