Support a Dog Lover in Recovery

Hello everyone,

It's not like me to ask for help from others but I am stuck in a very difficult place both physically and financially at the moment due to a freak accident/ medical emergency.

I was recently hospitalized after losing consciousness while driving. I had internal bleeding from an organ in my abdomen which was exasperated by me trying to break up a dog fight at the dog park. The internal bleeding caused me to lose consciousness while driving but luckily I was able to get my vehicle to the side of the road safely enough and with only minor damage to my vehicle and other vehicles (and without any major injuries to any people or dogs, thank God).

At the hospital, I had to receive multiple blood transfusions and life saving surgery to remove the organ responsible for my internal bleeding. I am very, very lucky to be alive right now. But the road for my recovery will be long and costly -- I will need to be off the ground in terms of dog walks for at least 13 weeks.

Given how my business operates currently, I rely on the money I personally make doing dog walks, dog training, and dog sitting in order to be able to pay my staff members weekly as well as I pay them and pay my bills. This, coupled with the expenses from the accident and the fact that I won't be making as much money overall now that I am completely out of commission, means I desperately need some immediate short term financial help from friends, family and clients in order to stay afloat financially during this difficult time period and to keep my staff members paid, especially because I am still rebounding financially from breaking my leg last year and other expenses.

I have set up this GoFundMe with the hope that I can get some help from others. Every donation helps, no matter how small, and I can promise when I am back to healthy I will most certainly be "pawing it forward" like I always do if I can get some help from others now.
