Ellaine is a dedicated paediatric nurse at Birmingham Children’s Hospital. She came to the UK from the Philippines a few years ago to provide care and comfort to children in paediatric cancer and spinal services.

Ellaine gave birth to a beautiful baby three months ago (their firstborn).

Unfortunately her beloved husband, Ren-Ren, has been diagnosed with oesophageal cancer.

While navigating life as a new parent, Ellaine now also has all the challenges the diagnosis comes with, without any family support in the country.

We want to help reduce their financial burden - which now falls entirely on Ellaine.

Despite these astronomical hardships, Ellaine remains dedicated to her nursing career and dreams of returning to the job she loves, helping children and families. But without our support, this may not be possible.
