Help Devoted Mom Fighting Rare Incurable Disease

Devoted mom, Hacklebarney Farm Customer and dear friend who is bravely fighting a rare incurable disease .

She has always dedicated her life to serving the community as a volunteer EMS worker and a nurse, organizing collection drives supporting families during the holidays, or lending a helping hand to neighbors in need. She has always been there for everyone, now she finds herself in desperate need of help.

Her Current Struggle-

Due to numerous medical issues over the years, she is on permanent disability and has endured multiple surgeries, including tumor removals. She is currently fighting a rare and incurable autoimmune disease that attacks her organs, muscles, and cells, severely impacting her heart, breathing, and swallowing. Despite these debilitating symptoms, she remains unwavering in her commitment to her children and their needs. Her treatment involves oral therapy and infusions at the cancer center, and her medical team is closely monitoring her pancreas and kidneys for any changes. She also faces the frightening prospect of bilateral total hip replacements.

Her Children-

Her loving children, who also face their own special needs and have had numerous surgeries of their own, are incredibly kind and resilient. They have grown up with compassion and empathy beyond their years. However, their family is going through an incredibly difficult Time as their family dynamic changes due to upcoming divorce, adding to their emotional and financial burdens, there is much healing needed after years of living in silence and fear.

The Financial Strain-

The strain on this family is immense. Her car lease is up next month and she has no money to secure a new one which is vital to transportation to treatments. Additionally, she needs a tutor for her children to help them succeed during this transitional time . Medical expenses, groceries, rent, and the children’s needs are overwhelming her. Her two children need laptops, which are essential for their education, but she cannot afford this. This loving mom is doing everything she can to endure the brutal side effects of her treatments for the sake of her children.
