Hi, my name is Cierra Boyd, and I’m the founder and designer behind FriskMeGood, a sustainable fashion brand I started eight years ago from the ground up. I create bold, innovative pieces by upcycling sneakers and unconventional materials into wearable art all handcrafted by me, with love, sweat, and relentless dedication.

Recently, my original designs were stolen by major fast fashion brands Akira and Azalea Wang. With the support of my amazing community online, those companies have since taken the designs down but the emotional and financial toll remains and the looming thoughts that this will continue to happen. I’m so grateful for your voices and advocacy and it has reminded me that I’m not alone in this.

Now, I’m turning to you not just as a designer, but as a small business owner who’s fighting to protect what I’ve built and take things to the next level. I’ve been doing everything on my own. From designing and sewing to packaging, shipping, and marketing but I’ve hit a point where scaling without capital is nearly impossible.
