Support a Dedicated Mom's Fight for Her Kids' Health

Hello, first, I want to thank you all so much for taking the time to read our story. I was blessed with four incredible children. Three of them have a medical condition called Familial Mediterranean Fevers. All of them have Ehlers-Danlos. We have been really lucky to have the greatest medical team; however, my nine-year-old is struggling with his health. The cost of medications, treatments, and transportation to and from appointments has overwhelmed me.

I've been a stay-at-home mom for the last 10 years taking care of them. Their father and I divorced over a year ago, and he has not looked back. He has gone completely no contact with his children, which has been very difficult. I am trying to keep up with medical and living expenses, which has become virtually impossible to do.

My goal is to find a job that I can do from home so that I can properly care for my son. I would love to go back to school to become a counselor. Unfortunately, with the cost of living, that is not looking possible. I am trying to be the best mom I can be and focus on getting my son the treatments he needs and the therapies he requires. At this point, I don’t know what to do but to ask for help, which is something I struggle with doing. I have always been told it takes a village, but in my toxic marriage, I relied solely on myself.

I appreciate anything and everything that anybody is able to do to help my family to save our home and assist me in going back to school so that I can be the best mother possible to my children.
