On Wednesday, October 15th, 2025, I was a victim of my new car being stolen and damaged. I just recently purchased this car after my previous car was totaled at work in an accident while it was parked on the street at the St. John's Avalon location. I only had the car for 2 weeks after the purchase before someone stole it from outside of my home and damaged it, making it inoperable unless I got it fixed.
The damage that was done to my car is:
1. A broken back window. (He broke my back window in order to gain access to my car to steal it.)
2. Ignition switch. (He tampered with my ignition switch area in order to start the car and take it.)
3. Driver wheel axle. (He hit the side of my tire and it broke the axle, forcing me to pay to get it towed to my house after paying for getting it out of the tow yard.)
4. Front Bumper. (Because of the accident on the side of my driver wheel, the front side of the bumper was damaged.)
I am a Community Health & Outreach worker so I depend on my car for work and transportation! Without it, I am at risk of not being able to perform certain tasks that are required for my work.
I am not asking for much, but whatever you can donate will be helpful in helping me fix my car for work.
