My name is Corean. My dream in life is to become a nurse. I have been studying and taking the TEAS test to get into the nursing program at my local community college. The test cost $115 each time you take it. I have taken this test 6 times. I am asking for help so that I can take the test again. I have been a medical assistant for over a year and a CNA for 20 years. Throughout all of this experience, I have learned my heart is in patient care. I know I have so much more to offer this community, especially when it is needed the most. Nursing to me is as much about nurturing the physical body, as it is walking the patient and their loved ones through what often ends up being the most difficult times of their life. Nursing is about body and soul, support for the patient and their loved ones. I have also been a single mom, and now a single grandmother helping to continue to care for my own family. Studying for this test has been putting myself through the education and continuously finding myself opportunities to augment my learning. Please help sponsor me to be able to take this assessment. Once the door is opened, I know I will succeed.
