Support a Daycare for Children with Cerebral Palsy in Uganda
Donation protected
I'm reaching out to ask for your support in creating a day care centre in Uganda for children with Cerebral Palsy, like my son O'Neil. O'Neil suffered severe brain damage during birth and was later diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy and drug-resistant epilepsy. Despite a difficult start to life, he is now four years old. He faces ongoing health challenges, including seizures, developmental delays, and daily medical needs.
Caring for O'Neil has been emotionally, physically, and financially draining. Like many parents of children with disabilities, we face societal stigma and overwhelming medical costs. The constant strain can be isolating, and finding proper care is a daily challenge.
Inspired by our journey, I want to create a special day care centre that offers children like O'Neil the care they deserve and gives their families a much-needed break. This centre will provide a safe, supportive environment with therapy, medical support, and a sense of community for children with Cerebral Palsy and similar conditions.
With your help, we can make this dream a reality. Your generous donation will help establish the first specialised day care for these children in Uganda, providing a place where they can thrive, and their families can find comfort and hope.
