Hello! I am looking to raise money for a friend who has fallen into a terrible situation in the past year. I am hoping to keep this anonymous to keep her information private and protect her safety. In the past year, her husband has developed a severe mental illness, and despite exhausting all options to help, he unfortunately refuses to seek treatment. His illness has caused him to become extremely violent towards her physically, mentally, and financially.

For the past 14 years, she has run a dance studio in Los Angeles that focuses on early childhood education but has also trained dancers through high school with both a performance company and competition team. Many of these dancers have gone off to study at some of the most prestigious undergraduate dance programs in the nation.

Due to her recent situation, she has dissolved her small business in Los Angeles and had to leave her client list of over a decade behind. She has relocated to the Mojave Desert to start over with her studio. Whilst trying to start a new business and build clientele, she is also having to navigate a heartbreaking divorce. She is also supporting a daughter in college who is disabled and has costly medical needs.

In 2021, she was hit by a car and sustained a traumatic brain injury, leaving her unable to drive to this day. She currently is unable to afford food while trying to rebuild her business and pay her employees. Additionally, there are outstanding costs from dissolving her business in Los Angeles, leaving her former employees without pay. She has exhausted every single option to make good on outstanding payments with copious side jobs as well.

I can say first hand that she is one of the kindest people I have ever met in my life. Living in Los Angeles alone in my early twenties has not been easy, and she has become an incredible mother figure to me in the past few years. I hope you please consider helping get this incredible woman back up on her feet.
