Support a Cousin's Battle with Parkinson's
Donation protected
I am one of the oldest cousins in the family. I have a 50 year old male cousin who has Parkinson’s disease. They are not well off and don’t have a job the last 10 years. His medication and doctor’s visit expense is very expensive and he does not have medical insurance. He needs help for his maintenance medication and ongoing doctor’s visit and or procedures required. I cannot help as I am only relying on my SSS small monthly pension. Lately he is having a hard time sleeping, eating specially walking around. He needs to continuously take his maintenance medication but now really having a hard time getting money to buy them. His wife helps him around the house and care for his needs and cannot work.
the amount he needs is about $300 a month and more if he needs to be seen by his specialist.
his last job was as a seaman but after he was diagnosed Parkinson's desease he had to quit as he was told and no medical benefit nor retirement benefit after he stopped working. They were only relying on cash gifts but lately because it’s been many years that we were all helping donate there’s not enough donations given to him. I hope and pray that many will contribute even small amount just so he can afford his medication and care each month. Thank you for all your kindness. God bless you all!
