Hi, my name is Treasure, and I’m reaching out on behalf of someone very dear to me, a resilient woman and devoted mother who is fighting to reclaim her life and protect her child’s future.

When we first created this fundraiser, it was to help a courageous mother safely leave her marriage and secure legal support.

We want to share an update: She has taken the brave step to leave. She and her son are now staying with her mother in Florida, while her husband is back up North. For now, he is providing some financial support, and she has also connected with a domestic violence advocate who is guiding her toward possible free legal aid.

Although some immediate needs are being covered, there are still many uncertainties ahead, legal processes, stable housing, childcare, and living expenses can shift at any time. This fund remains an important way to help her bridge the gap as she builds stability for herself and her son. Legal fees for divorce and custody: $5,000–$10,000

First month’s rent + deposit in a safe location: $2,500–$4,000

Utilities setup and Wi-Fi for remote work: $300–$500

Movers and packers: $1,000–$2,500

Travel and temporary stay expenses: $200–$800

Emergency support and relocation cushion: $1,000–$2,000

She is also actively working to earn additional funds through online opportunities while balancing the demands of caring for her baby alone.

This fund will give her the safety net she needs to start anew with dignity, survive the transition, and stabilize her family.
