Hi everyone I wanted to see if anyone could help me pay for my bunnys medical bills. I got him from someone who was looking to rehome him because they couldnt take care of "it" anymore. When I picked him up he was extremely skinny and malnourished. Even worse he had GI stasis which is extremely deadly in rabbits. I did all I could to save him and thankfully he is still with me today 3 weeks later. Although not fully healthy he is recovering and im so proud of him. The vet bills have left me in quite a difficult spot and the previous owner refuses to help pay (he even blocked my phone number which is my only way to contact him). His vet bills were around $1600. To make things worse he has a bone deformity in his right arm which according to the vet could've been either a birth defect or a broken bone that was never treated and based on the condition he came to me in I genuinely believe it was the latter. I am a college student and dont really have that much money saved. I thank God I was able to get him to where he is today but I do need financial help. There's nothing I can afford right now whether it be for the bunny or for myself so I would really appreciate some help. I set the goal as $3000 to cover what I already spent and what I anticipate to spend again.
